What is heynounce?
heynounce is a site with one goal in mind: help small websites announce themselves to the online world. It's very difficult for new websites to get themselves notice, so we try to give everyone a helping hand by allowing them to instantly get noticed by a large audience.
How does it work?
By funneling steady traffic to new sites, we're able to give them a helping hand when it comes to search engine recognition (getting google to notice you fast is the key to success) and by generally getting the word out on what you have to offer.
Is this a free service?
This site is entirely free and does not require registration to submit to.
How does a site grow with heynounce?
Large websites that link to a new small website generally overloads them with traffic. (think slashdot or digg effect) We try to spread out the traffic over a longer duration to hopefully allow the new site to handle the visitors.
What does the tree symbolize next to my site?
Sites that are popular with our visitors will have their tree icon grow, alerting everyone that this site should be noticed. Using a 'bumper icon' on your site also helps your site grow.
